A significant portion of global production comes from China, India and Eastern Europe as well as other emerging markets. This will increase up to 40% by 2020. Companies need to address these changes and must adapt their value-added structures accordingly. The growth in economies such as China and India and other emerging markets, comparatively lower costs and increased wealth of the population as well as the enormous potential of skilled labor are attracting foreign investors. On the other hand show companies from Asia increasing interest to internationalize their business model.
